How does your garden grow, with silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row - well, not exactly. The hard work continues, for Mr. Lumberjackman that is! He has been gathering rock from hither and yon and ripping out the dead lawn that is a direct result of the water restrictions in San Diego.
We used to have a lovely green lawn that we seriously had to water every day. Especially in the Summer. But we just couldn't bring ourselves to continue when there was a water shortage etc. It just didn't seem right.
We want the front of our home to be like a Japanese garden - this is a path of flagstone where grass used to be! It is so exciting to have a new aesthetic growing right before my eyes!
