I Hate Goodbyes. . . my Kitties are Gone . . .

How can it happen just like that - one morning everything is fine everyone is eating their cat biscuit and tuna - - then gone. Two of the three little angels have vanished and my heart is broken.

One of them, Midnight, has been with me for 10 years. Sleeps with me, loves me as much as I love him. . . it is all so sad. Isn't he handsome. He loved to rest on warm days under the lavender bushes in the front garden. He would smell a little of lavender when he walked by. I miss him terribly.

Our little girl, Phoebe was the one with the happy bounding personality! She loved everything and really liked the photo booth that I take my etsy photos in - isn't she lovely. What a face! I can't believe she is gone - - crying really doesn't seem to make me feel better.

Thank you for letting me share these wonderful cats with you.

  2. Oh Elise, this is so sad. Our pets are such a part of our lives and it is heartbreaking to read your story. You are so right about how quickly things can change, and happy-normal gives way to sorrow and tears. They were beautiful cats Elise.

  4. Oh Elise, I am so sorry, this is so sad. They were so beautiful. How about if you make your next post to be about the one lovely and lovable kitty that is not gone? Will that help? Or make a journal spread, a memorial page for Midnight and the other for Phoebe..
